What is The Hydrogen Game?
Developed by the NWO HyChain research consortium, this workshop helps you understand how hydrogen functions in the energy transition, which investments are most effective, how policies influence outcomes, and how different sectors are interconnected.

Who can benefit?
– Government agencies and policy makers
– Industry, especially sectors such as logistics, steel, or chemicals
– Corporate teams in sustainability, innovation, or finance
– Public–private partnerships

How does it work?
– Duration: approx. 2.5 hours

– Group size: 5 to 24 participants, divided over one or more game sessions

– Format: introduction → board-game style simulation in which you make decisions on production, policy, infrastructure, etc. → debriefing in which strategies are analyzed and lessons are shared
