Last week, we organised an interactive workshop focused on the growing role of hydrogen in the energy transition. Using a simulation game developed by the NWO HyChain research consortium, participants explored how hydrogen strategies affect different sectors. By making investment decisions, infrastructure choices, and policy actions, they could see how these elements are interconnected and how such decisions can influence the future of the hydrogen economy.
The simulation led to engaging group discussions that highlighted the complexity of the transition and provided valuable insights into how different choices can lead to very different outcomes. It helped participants better understand both the opportunities and the challenges within the hydrogen economy.
