Exploring an Eco-Learning Future for Curaçao

Yesterday, Stella Van Rijn, Saskia P., Iwan Zunder, Liesbeth Echteld and I, discussed ways to further develop and connect Learning Communities on Curaçao. Central to the exchange was the idea of strengthening the relationship between education and research through a step-by-step approach, while building synergies with initiatives such as SutainaBUL, but also with initiatives like Foodboost Challenge, GreenKidz, and MicroMondi.

The vision is to gradually shape an eco-learning system: an inclusive framework where learning, working, and innovation reinforce each other, and where society actively contributes to sustainable and future-proof solutions.

The dialogue highlighted both the energy and opportunities such collaborations can unlock, pointing towards a Curaçao where knowledge and cooperation become key drivers of long-term sustainable change.
